NANA KAMI

' Nana Kami ' is an intimate and heartfelt project of original works.

After a year of taking time out to reset, I found myself returning to drawing with more passion than ever 🖤 It has always been the quiet act that always brings me home to who I am.

In Japanese, the word Kami carries a beautiful dual meaning: it means both ‘Spirit’ (神) and ‘Paper’ (紙) - That felt fitting.

Each month, I’ll be releasing 7 heartfelt paper spirits - or Kami - each one its own gentle offering.

This first collection is a study of one of my favourite subjects: Goldfish. They’ve long been a quiet thread running through my work - creatures I return to again and again for the joy they bring me in the making.

A small spirit, made with heart and care. Please click NANA KAMI Collection 1 to view the series. Â
