Nana Kami (Collection 1 - Goldfish)
Nana Kami is an intimate and heartfelt project of original works.
In Japanese, the word Kami carries a beautiful dual meaning: it means both ‘Spirit’ (神) and ‘Paper’ (紙), That felt fitting.
Each month, I’ll be releasing 7 heartfelt paper spirits - or Kami - each one its own gentle offering.
This first series is a study of one of my favourite subjects: Goldfish.
They’ve long been a quiet thread running through my work - creatures I return to again and again for the joy they bring me in the making.
A small spirit, made with care 🖤
